VS B&WVincent Stranges – Managing Director

Vincent provides a wealth of executive management and investment experience and is the Responsible Manager in charge under Apac Investment’s AFSL license.

He has over 20 years of experience in the funds management and investment industry. His experience covers executive management, product development, marketing, compliance, strategy and portfolio management for a number of large unlisted property and mortgage trusts.

Prior to establishing Apac Investment, Vincent held a number of senior positions with Austpac Investments, Invesco Australia, Australian Unity Investments and at AXA Australia, including a stint with the Australian corporate regulator ASIC. Vincent established Apac Investment after many years of working for larger corporate fund managers and in response to his own beliefs in ensuring that all investment decision outcomes are for the betterment of investors.

Vincent has been instrumental in the development and managing of property and secured debt funds with a total value in excess of $1 billion and $1.5 billion respectively, including the Australian Unity Healthcare Property Trust, a circa $400m healthcare trust invested in hospitals, clinics and specialised healthcare assets. This fund has won a number of industry awards, and was highly rated by independent researchers Lonsec and Adviser Edge, with highly recommended and 5 star recommendations received.

Vincent has established a highly respected and long-standing track record in running successful property and secured debt investments.

Vincent holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting), Bachelor of Applied Science (Technology), Graduate Diploma (Applied Finance & Investment) and is a member of FINSIA (Senior Associate level).

ED B&W2Elaine Delahunty – Director of Marketing

Elaine has over 20 years of experience in the funds management, superannuation, banking and investment industry. Her experience covers areas including senior management, product development, marketing, brand, strategy, distribution, and client management.

Elaine has held a number of senior positions with Nab, Lincoln Indicators, AXA Australia and IOOF. Elaine has been instrumental in the development and management of a number of successful financial products and brands.

MH B&WMartin Hession – Property Executive

Martin is responsible for assisting in the identification, development and disposal of property assets. Martin recently spent over 10 years at Australian Unity Property as Head of Property, responsible for Australian Unity’s property portfolio, valued in excess of $1.7b. His experience in property includes portfolio management, commercial and land development and real estate agency management over 30 years.

Prior to joining Australian Unity, Martin was General Manager – Property at AXA Australia. Earlier roles include Managing Director of LJ Hooker (Victoria), Managing Director of Baillieu Knight Frank (SA), and Chief Executive of Hillier Parker (Victoria).

Martin is also a past Vice President of the Property Council of Australia, an Associate of the Institute of Actuaries, and a Licensed Estate Agent (License No. 004020L).

Remo joined Apac Investment in 2013 working on a range of strategic and operational initiatives.

With over 25 years financial services experience,  Remo has proven ability to lead and progress complex and diverse world-class operations. Remo has extensive and broad experience in corporate functions such as middle office, back office, client services, relationship management, change management, executive director and managing director positions.

Prior to joining Apac Investment, Remo worked with and contributed to the growth of organisations such as the Norwich Group, AXA Australia, Australian Unity Investments, Merrill Lynch Investment Managers and most recently BlackRock Investment Management as Managing Director – Business Operations.

Throughout his extensive career, Remo has driven a strong track record of results, execution excellence and improved efficiency, whilst focusing on client service excellence.

 

GA B&WGeorge Aivazidis – Compliance Manager

George is responsible for all compliance and regulatory oversight. George has been involved in the financial services regulatory and compliance industry for almost 30 years, having worked for the Victorian Corporate Affairs office and the Australian Securities & Investments Commission for 14 years.

George has subsequently gained significant experience working for fund managers, including an ASX listed manager, as well as for a number of financial planning firms in audit, compliance and professional standards management. George holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Melbourne University, Diploma of Financial Services (FP) and an Associate of the Australasian Compliance Institute.
